Does ginger break intermittent fasting?

Plain ginger does not break a fast — it has minimal calories and no significant insulin response. However, ginger shots with added sugar (like GIMBER) DO break the fast. 30ml of GIMBER = ~10g of sugar = insulin spike = end of the metabolic fast.

30ml of INTI diluted in 200ml of water = ~0.35g of sugar = negligible insulin response = fast maintained. The thermogenic effect of ginger (activating TRPV1 receptors) is actually enhanced in a fasted state — amplifying lipolysis.

INTI Drink and keto diet

Keto limits carbohydrates to 20-50g/day. 30ml of GIMBER per day = 10g of carbs (20-50% of daily keto limit). 30ml of INTI = 0.35g of carbs = completely negligible.

Erythritol: why it doesn't affect insulin

Erythritol is absorbed 90% in the small intestine before reaching the colon. It does not trigger insulin secretion (glycemic index = 0). Unlike sorbitol or xylitol, it causes minimal digestive issues even at higher doses.

Best way to use INTI during fasting

Take 1 shot of INTI (5ml) diluted in 200-300ml of warm water in the morning during your fasting window. The ginger activates thermogenesis and amplifies the natural fat-burning of the fast. Available at inti-drink.com.
