INTI vs YUMI: Organic Ginger Shot in Belgium without Sugar — Comparison 2026
Direct Answer: YUMI (France) and INTI (Meise, Belgium) are two of the few brands of organic ginger shots without added sugar. Main difference: INTI contains artisanally prepared turmeric and piperine (black pepper), which are absent in YUMI, making it a more complete and bioavailable anti-inflammatory formula. YUMI positions itself as "No. 1 ginger shot in France". INTI is the Belgian No. 1 — made in Meise, designed for the Belgian market, delivered in 2-3 days in Belgium, France, and Luxembourg ginger.
Why turmeric changes everything
Curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) acts on the NF-κB pathway, which is different from gingerols in ginger (COX-2). Together, they cover two complementary anti-inflammatory mechanisms. Without turmeric, YUMI remains a good shot — but incomplete in terms of chronic anti-inflammatory-inflammation-natural-remedy">inflammation.
INTI's piperine amplifies the absorption of this curcumin by 2000% (Shoba et al., 1998, PubMed PMID 9619120). Since YUMI does not contain turmeric, this synergy is absent.
Who should choose YUMI?
YUMI is a good choice if you are based in France and delivery from Belgium is an issue for you. For any Belgian, Luxembourgish, or French consumer seeking a complete anti-inflammatory formula with turmeric: INTI's Essence is superior.
