Does the sugar from whole fruits also count?
The sugar from whole fruits (with fiber) is metabolized differently and is less problematic. This calculator specifically focuses on liquid sugars (drinks) which, without fiber, generate more pronounced glycemic spikes.
Do beer and wine count in this calculation?
Dry wine contains ~2-3g of residual sugar/100ml. Beer: 2-8g/100ml depending on the type. The alcohol itself (7 kcal/g) generates other metabolic problems independent of sugar.
How do I get someone used to sodas to accept the taste of INTI?
