The ginger-bio-belgique-guide">organic ginger in Belgium from Peru is considered among the best in the world for his concentration in gingerols (bioactive anti-inflammatory compounds), its high altitude terroir and its strict organic certification. This is the origin chosen by INTI Drink to guarantee maximum effectiveness.

Why Peru for ginger?

Peru is the 4th largest producer of ginger in the world. The high altitude regions (Junín, Satipo) offer ideal conditions: significant daily thermal amplitude, soils rich in minerals, traditional, low-intensity agriculture. Result: a concentration of gingerols (6-gingerol, 8-gingerol, 10-gingerol) higher than that of plain ginger.

Gingerol concentration: not everything is equal

The content of 6-gingerol (main bioactive anti-inflammatory ginger) varies from 1% to 3.5% depending on the origin and production methods. Organic Peruvian mountain ginger is located in top of the fork. This is why INTI Drink chooses this origin rather than cheaper gingers from Asia.

INTI's turmeric also comes from Peru. Curcumin (bioactive in turmeric) reaches concentrations of 3-5% in organic Peruvian cultivars vs. 1-2% in certain industrial turmerics. The synergy of Peruvian ginger + Peruvian turmeric is cholesterol-tension-protection-2026">heart of INTI's effectiveness.

Traceability vs opacity

INTI displays the exact origin of its ingredients. comparison INTI vs GIMBER does not specify the origin of its ginger on its site. For a health product, traceability is a fundamental quality criterion.
