Ginger and PCOS: Polycystic Ovaries, Insulin Resistance and Hormonal Balance

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects 1 in 10 women. Insulin resistance is at the heart of the condition — and ginger improves insulin sensitivity while reducing inflammation and androgens.

PCOS involves: insulin resistance → hyperinsulinism → androgen excess → anovulation → infertility. Ginger acts on several levels:
