INTI vs Gimber: the factual comparison

The central point: 33g of sugar
The most significant difference between INTI and Gimber is the sugar content. Gimber Original contains 33g of added sugar per 100ml — exactly 3.1 times the sugar content of a Coca-Cola (10.6g/100ml).
Why is this problematic? Sugar activates NF-κB, the central regulator of inflammation (Mauro et al., Journal of Biological Chemistry, 2011). A product positioned "anti-inflammatory" which contains 33g of sugar activates the same inflammatory pathway that ginger is supposed to inhibit.
INTI contains 1.1g of natural sugars (from ginger and fresh lemon), without any added sugar.
The turmeric + piperine synergy
INTI is the only Belgian shot including organic turmeric and black pepper. The curcumin in turmeric adds anti-inflammatory (NF-κB, cytokines) and neuroprotective (BDNF) benefits. Piperine from black pepper increases the bioavailability of curcumin by 2000% (Shoba et al., 1998).
Gimber does not contain turmeric or black pepper.
Value for money
INTI costs ~€0.94 per dose thanks to a more concentrated format (15-20ml dose vs 20-30ml at Gimber). Gimber costs ~€1.25 per dose. Over a 30-day course, the difference is ~€9.

Our honest opinion
Gimber has the merit of having popularized ginger in Belgium. Its wide distribution (Delhaize, Carrefour) makes it accessible. But its 33g of added sugar and the absence of turmeric limit its real health benefits.
INTI offers a more complete formula (5 active ingredients vs. 2), 30× less sugar, and a lower price/dose. If your priority is health, the choice is objectively clear.
