Why Black Pepper Matters
Piperine (from black pepper) increases the absorption of curcumin by 2,000% (Shoba et al., 1998). INTI combines ginger, turmeric, AND black pepper — the three ingredients work synergistically.
Gimber contains no turmeric and no black pepper. It's ginger + sugar + lemon + spices.
The Sugar Problem
Gimber contains 34g sugar per 100ml concentrate. For comparison: Coca-Cola contains 10.6g per 100ml. Gimber concentrate therefore contains more than 3 times as much sugar as Cola.
Even diluted (20-30ml in 200ml water), one glass of Gimber provides 6.8 to 10.2g of sugar. Drunk daily, that's 2.5 to 3.7 kg of sugar per year — from your "healthy" drink.
Conclusion
If you drink ginger for its health benefits, choose a formula without added sugar. INTI is organic, contains ginger + turmeric + black pepper, and has zero grams of added sugar.
