Ingredients
- 20 ml INTI elixir
- 200 ml organic oat milk (or plant-based milk of your choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon organic virgin coconut oil

- 1 teaspoon organic honey (optional)
Step-by-step instructions
- Pour the oat milk into a small saucepan and heat over low heat to 70°C (simmering, not boiling).
- Add the coconut oil and whisk well to create a frothy texture.
- Remove from heat, add 20 ml of INTI elixir and cinnamon.
- Whisk vigorously or use an immersion blender to froth.
- Taste and add honey if necessary (INTI's erythritol already provides sweetness).
- Pour into a large mug and sprinkle with a hint of cinnamon. Serve hot.
Why this recipe is anti-inflammatory
The INTI elixir used in this recipe contains ginger + turmeric + organic black pepper. The piperine in black pepper multiplies curcumin's bioavailability by 20 (Shoba 1998 study), and [6]-gingerol inhibits the NF-kB pathway. The result: a far superior anti-inflammatory effect than a ginger mocktail alone.
Possible variations
- Add fresh grated ginger for a more pronounced spiciness
- Replace honey with organic maple syrup
- For a more festive version: decorate with seasonal fruits
Storage
This drink is best enjoyed fresh, within 30 minutes of preparation. The INTI elixir itself can be stored for 12 months unopened, and 2 months after opening in the refrigerator.
